Ivy was born and raised in Orange County, CA. She grew up participating in children’s theater starting from a young age and attended Academy of Performing Arts High School in Huntington Beach. She performed throughout Southern California in both singing and improv comedy troupes. After high school, she did a summer study abroad program in London and upon her return, started her first job as a full-time graphic designer (self-taught). At age 24, she went back to school to learn graphic design from the fundamentals, attending the Art Institutes – B.S. program. From 2014 – 2020 she worked as an in-house graphic designer, mostly in the home design and real estate industries. In 2019, she earned a Certificate in User Experience Design from UCSD Extension and was able to immediately put those learned skills to use. These days you can find her designing experiences for humans with the Pardee brand, creating visuals inspired by Los Angeles, and working to make the home buying and selling processes more accessible, less stressful— even fun. In her free time, she enjoys baking, Sunday brunch, live music, and traveling. She’s honored to be part of the amazing team at Pardee Properties.
