I recently worked with Hessel as I embarked upon a search for a condo in the West LA/Santa Monica area, and he was terrific to work with from beginning to end. We were on a tight timeline because I had to leave my current place by a specific date, and Hessel was totally on it in terms of keeping the ball moving forward.He was very knowledgeable, both about the various neighborhoods that I was looking at, as well as the specific elements to keep mind when considering a condo as opposed to a house. He had specific points of view on everything we looked at, but was also a keen listener and was able to quickly tune in to my needs. I also really liked that he had great ideas on how to change up spaces, renovate, furnishings, etc.And when it came to make an offer and negotiate a deal, his advice was absolutely on point. He advised against offering more than what was necessary which was exactly the right way to handle this particular situation. And then when we went in for a request for repair, he guided me on how to put together the paperwork to get the exact credit that we thought was reasonable given the situation. Moreover, I was really impressed by how he managed his interactions with the listing agent, my mortgage broker, and the escrow office. Plus, all the while, he was always a great sounding board for me and provided sage counsel any time I had a question or concern.I’d recommend him highly for any sort of real estate transaction, as he’ll be at your side providing wise advice and serving as your staunch advocate every step of the way.

Hessel did a phenomenal job helping us to find a place to rent coming from out of town. We were moving from NYC to LA, and his help on the ground was absolutely essential to finding a great place to live. His area knowledge is tremendous. Every time we brought up a unit we may have seen, he gave us a quick rundown of the neighborhood, amenities, type of place, location and transit right off the top of his head. He is also very easy to talk with and kind. He put us at ease when planning our cross-country move (no easy feat considering the stress of the situation). When we buy, we are heading straight to Hessel for his help!

We were connected to Hessel through a referral of a good friend, and he was INCREDIBLE in helping us find a home to rent remotely, as we were relocating from New York City to Los Angeles. Hessel took the initiative to find us amazing options, going above and beyond to visit any property we wanted to see before we arrived in LA. He gave us video tours of properties we were interested in so that we could apply to the select few we truly wanted, and then did final walk throughs with us so that we could decide in person on which lease we wanted to sign. When we decided on a property that wouldn't accept a realtor to represent us, he accepted the news with grace and kindness. We will absolutely be calling him when we decide to buy our forever home.

phenomenally helpful for me. My first broker pulled out for no real reason and Hessel jumped in same day more than a couple of days it was listed, and within a week of that I had a tenant. And a good tenant. He made my life as a landlord, super easy I shall have a work on all my properties, I only have a few, but there for him to manage when i rent and when I sell.

Some of the issues that arose in the transaction would have challenged the knowledge base of even the most seasoned agent. When one of these unique issues/questions arose Hessel was very proactive about figuring them out and finding solutions. He knew what questions to ask and where to find answers. I can't rate Hessel highly enough!
