26 Questions with Tami Pardee
Inspired by Vogue’s 73 Questions, we thought it would be fun to learn more about Pardee Properties CEO and Founder, Tami Pardee! She is the creator of a cutting-edge concierge brokerage model, using specialized teams to create life-changing client experiences in buying and selling homes. Since its inception in 2004, Pardee has sold over $5 billion worth of residential and commercial real estate and grown to four offices across California.
So what were you doing before I got here?
I was talking to Matt actually!
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
I brush my teeth and go on a walk.
What is your affirmation for today?
Today, it was very much breathe.
Now how would you describe yourself in 3 words?
I’m the goddess of love and play. I guess thats 3 words if you take out the small words, right?
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I was a state champion snow skier.
Best piece of advice you’ve received?
Be yourself.
Best advice you’d give your younger self?
There’s advice my parents would always give. You attract more bees with honey, thats my moms. My dads were, fail to plan, plan to fail. I love that one from him. Also, there’s 3 kinds of people. There’s people that talk about people. There’s people that talk about things and there are people that talk about ideas. What kind of person do you want to be? I love that one. I’ll be in the idea group!
What’s your spirit animal?
It’s a tiger!
What is the Residential Market pulse?
It just tells about the market in the individual areas. I just like people to be informed. I think information is key!
If you were in a girl group, what would it be called?
I would have to say the Tiger Cupcake Daisy Band.
Who would be in this group?
Well I would have to have Paige, who’s my partner, because she has a really good voice. Sam is a really good back up dancer!
What are three things you can’t live without?
My kids, my love, and my friends.
What’s a movie you could watch over and over again?
About Last Night!
Where’s your favorite place to visit?
Whitefish, Montana.
What’s the best part about living in LA?
You almost have to say the weather because it’s always 72 and sunny! But, I love the fact that you can be anything you want and there’s not a glass ceiling or boundary especially for women. I love that about LA.
What’s your favorite restaurant on the Westside?
I love Sushi Enya. We go there too much and I probably have a mercury problem, but I love it!
Tell us about Life Change Warriors.
So Life Change Warriors is my foundation. We teach a class to the underprivileged about how to live their best life and we take them through 16 hours of work of different tools to get there and formulate a plan with them and help launch them too. It’s really great!

Now what’s the best part about your job?
The people. The people I work with and the people that I work for. I love people and I love people really starring in the life they love, so I love to help people move forward and I do that through real estate.
What’s the hardest part about your job?
I think I want everyone to always be happy.
How many homes do you think you’ve sold so far?
I think I’ve sold almost 4,000 homes in my career!
Do you remember the first house you sold?
Yes! It was for my best friend. I made her buy a house. I got in the business and I was like “you have to buy this house!” and she did. She always says that it was the best thing that ever happened.
What makes Pardee Properties the #1 Team in LA?
We care about each other and we care about our clients. We’re well versed and well informed. This is what we do for a living and this is what we want to be doing.
Now since Mother’s Day is coming up, I wanted to ask you…What’s your favorite part about being a mom?
I love honestly being with you guys and laughing with you and spending time with you. I just love it!
What’s the most important advice you’ve given your kids?
I think that me being myself with you guys, is good because you learn through the ups and the downs.
How will you be spending mothers day?
That’s a good question! I think there’s a group text around that I’m not a part of.
Finally, here is the last question, what are your top goals for 2022?
I think that my goals are just to really be together. I enjoy every day of what I do, so enjoying the moments and making us a better company for our clients and each other and enjoying ourselves too and helping people move into what they’re dreaming to do in life. That’s what I love about what we do. We are moving people to actually where they want to be!
