This November, We're Feeding Our Community

Because of the ongoing federal government shutdown, SNAP benefits (formerly known as food stamps) will not be distributed beginning November 1.
For millions of Americans — including many families right here in Los Angeles — that means real uncertainty about how to put food on the table.

At Pardee Properties, we believe in showing up for one another. Whether you could use a little extra help right now or you’re in a position to lend a hand, we’ve gathered verified local resources and ways to make a difference right here on the Westside.

Join Our Local Food Drive

From now through November 30, we’re collecting shelf-stable food donations at our Venice office:

Venice Office: 1524 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice - corner of Abbot Kinney and Rialto

All donations will go directly to LA Food Bank, which distributes food to local organizations supporting families across our neighborhoods.

  • Volunteer: Help sort food, serve meals, or deliver groceries to neighbors.

  • Share Resources: Send this list to someone who might need it — you never know whose day you’ll brighten.

  • Give Locally: Join a “Buy Nothing” group, stock a community fridge, or support a neighborhood pantry.
