Brave New Worlds: Exploration of Space
Brave New Worlds: Exploration of Space invites you to enter the creative universes of five contemporary artists through sculpturally immersive installations.
Motivated by the legacies of Southern California as a place of artistic experimentation, a site for self-fulfillment, and a geographic zone of light and natural resources, these artists use their distinctive spatial languages to construct worlds that both challenge convention and ignite our senses. Projects include those by Kelly Akashi, Gisela Colon, Victoria Fu, Karen Lofgren, and Adee Roberson, with works that represent each artist’s understanding of our bodily connection to the world that surrounds us.

Palm Springs VillageFest
Downtown Palm Springs transforms into a diverse array of artists, artisans, entertainers, and purveyors of fresh fruits and veggies, flowers, jewelry, snacks and sweets. Add all that to the great shops, restaurants, clubs, and entertainment venues located along World Famous Palm Canyon Drive and the result is one of Southern California’s most popular weekly events: VillageFest!

Me & You at The Zoo
Designed for children ages 18 months to 4 years of age and accompanying adults.
Our Me & You at the Zoo adventure begins in the Discovery Center where we’ll have specially selected, age appropriate manipulatives and toys available. Then we’ll move the program to our special Me & You in the Garden* space for outdoor nature play, including digging in the dirt, and a planting opportunity.

Splash House
Splash House is what you get when you mix up fun-loving people, with some rocking pool parties, and an escape to sunny Palm Springs, California. It’s a little slice of paradise where friendships are forged as people dance to the best in house, disco, and electronica.
Splash House takes place across three hotel resorts in both June and August. Buy a ticket and you get admission to all three, plus shuttles running between all weekend. Buy a hotel package and you can enjoy a room just steps away from the stage in addition to access to all three resorts.
By night, we take flight at the Palm Springs Air Museum for our After Hours program – a pair of open air parties back-dropped by vintage aircraft and a glowing airport tarmac. After Hours admission is sold separately and may be purchased with or without a Splash House ticket.

Fall Joshua Tree Music Festival
Come out for the Joshua Tree Fall Music Festival! The festival showcases up and coming, white hot, have-to-see-them-now-before-they-get-big type of roster, with artists that are still hungry, honing their craft, and creating unique, original sounds. Artists who have performed at JTMF, then gone on to successful music careers include Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Elle King, the Avett Brothers, Brett Dennen, John Butler Trio, Trombone Shorty, Deer Tick, Trampled by Turtles, Chicano Batman, Railroad Earth, Orgone, Valerie June, Greensky Bluegrass and more. The festival offers live music which alternates continuously on two stages in one area so you don’t miss a beat. Festivities also include a Kidsville, Artisan Vendors, Food and Drink, Live Painting & Auction and much more. The festival is a family friendly event, creating an all ages audience.

Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade
This year’s theme is an opportunity for our community to showcase and celebrate different types of ‘super heroes’. From your typical comic book superhero to a police officer, fireman, veteran, teacher, child, parent – the list of ‘super heroes’ is endless!
Experience the spectacular color, pageantry, and fun as scores of whimsically decorated golf carts and bands march down Palm Desert’s El Paseo Shopping District, in the first major event of the season!
