Spooktacular in Marina del Rey — Fun for the Whole Family

Halloween is around the corner and Marina del Rey is throwing a Halloween party to kick off the festivities!

Marina Spooktacular offers Halloween fun for the whole family on the Los Angeles waterfront. Enjoy free admission to this two-day festival in Burton Chace Park, Marina del Rey. Daytime activities are kid-friendly, but when night falls, the park evolves into a field of frights with tours of L.A.’s only haunted pirate ships (recommended for brave souls age 13 and up).

Enjoy face painting, carnival games, bounce houses, food vendors, a tractor ride for kids, pumpkin carving and crafts, Live DJ, and more all day! Ongoing tours of the pirate ships will be non-scary in the daytime but haunted at night.

There will also be Thriller Dance Flash Mobs, where you can learn the popular Halloween season dance, face painting, costume contests for people AND pets, and Aztec dancing!

Admission is FREE, however, liability waivers are required for all attendees (all ages) who want to participate in any activity. Print out and complete your waiver at home for faster festival entry. You’ll need to deliver the waiver to the Department of Beaches & Harbors tent at the park entrance and exchange it for a wristband. Get a printable waiver by registering at the Marina Spooktacular Event page.
