The Passion Behind Our Brokerage

Many Type A people work hard and play harder, yet in the extremely competitive world of real estate, how one approaches life shapes success. Last week, Inman — a real estate media publisher of industry news — hosted events in Los Angeles and Tami spoke on two panels. The first panel focused on an aspect that is part of our company’s culture and values — “Making Charity a Part of Your Brokerage.” Tami suggested that companies get out and make a difference in their communities because, in addition to doing good, “giving back is an incredible motivator…. Too often, I see companies that are focused on making money — and while that is important — it’s also important to do something good for the community where you work.” To date, Halton Pardee + Partners has donated over $875,000 to local charities with our Life-Changer program.
During the “Independent Success: How I Started an Independent Brokerage” panel, Tami advised the need to “create unique experiences as part of your mission, day-to-day.” She also discussed her passion for owning an independent brokerage as it fulfills her ability to achieve a strong work-life balance — while being a mom with four kids, owning the company allows her creativity to flow for developing a business, engage with and getting to know our clients as well as their needs, plus support the livelihood of 60+ people in the Pardee work-family!
