Rethinking the Basics

Parachute Home Opens on Rose Avenue

This week, our Local Spotlight shines on Venice.

Los Angeles bedding and home textiles label Parachute opened its first boutique on Rose Avenue in September. Known for eco-friendly bedding and textiles, the two-year old company has become a hit with those who desire quality fabrics with a focus on sustainability. Inspired by a perfect bed in a picturesque hotel along Italy’s Amalfi Coast, founder Ariel Kaye came home trying to find similar bedding. Instead she found there wasn’t a brand that was affordable and high-quality, so she created Parachute to provide a beautiful experience that was easy to purchase. The goals of her bedding is to help ensure a great night of sleep, while also giving back and providing people a safe sleep, which is why for every Venice bed set purchased, Parachute donates a malaria-preventing net to mosquito-plagued countries around the globe in partnership with the United Nations “Nothing But Nets” program.

As you prepare for the holidays, treat your houseguests to the same perfection with new bed linens. Not only will they freshen up the home, they’ll ensure your relatives are cozy and comfortable.
